Main door take care of at least 15 to 20% of vaastu.
It is like a face of the house, as we get up in the morning
and make our face right in the same way the door/gate should be taken care. And
we all know that we are vaulted by our face first. Main door brings in good or
bad luck all the time.
We will discuss it two parts one is directions way and other
is general way.
The main door should be bigger and beautiful than the other
doors available in the house.
There must be a difference in size and looks of the main
door from other doors.
Main door should be cleaned, should not be worn out. Maa
Lakshmi and good energy when enters the house it likes beautiful doors.
Door should be beautified by the auspicious symbols like Symbol of Kalash with coconut on it, Maa
Lakshmi’s Charan (Feet) pointing towards the house, Swasthik with ridhisidhhi
and shubhlaabh written on both sides of it, Swastikh is symbolized as Ganesha,
Riddhi and Sidhi are his two wives , Subh and Laabh are his two sons.
Toran and Bhandanwar is a good ornament for the main door,
it invites good luck and also wards off the bad energies.
Lighting a diya outside the door is good practice. This
should be done at the sun set. This practice wards away the negative energies
coming in. It works as a security against
the evil forces.
The main door should open inside towards the left. This
opening lets the energy come in very freely. Doors opening towards the right or
outside are not considered good.
When you open the main door make sure there is no other door
in front of it this rule is applicable
both inside and outside the door.
The size of the main door is also a point, the ratio of
length and breath should be in 1:2.
Some of the places the height is very low due to the height
of the ceilings. In some of the places you that due to shortage of the space
the width of the door is very less. This creates problems in opportunities and
wealth flows.
If there is small opening above the door in form of the
ventilator it is very auspicious.
Now we need to check if the door has any vedh’sout side
(Sharp energy arrows). These vedhshools can be in many forms. Structures ending
or situated on a T end of road are not auspicious. A big tree, a pole, a big
wall or building in front of the door is also not good. Giving sharp lights is
one of the remedies to correct the defects for shool.
Also do check that is the door making noise which is
irritating and bad to hear. Mind it these noises cut the good energies stop these
noises.
If we talk about the
main door facings there is lot to say, every direction from the eight
directions has its own good and bad effects according to its usage. But just to
discuss the worst entry I would Southwest direction as the last main door
facing. It gives lots of delays in our life. Problems in many of the areas of our life. The magnetic energy
started from the Northeastern sides should get accumulated in the southwest
corner by providing the door from the southeast it gets leaked.
