START CONSTRUCTION ACCORDING TO VAASTU

The first and foremost step, before commencing the construction work of any structure be it official or residential, is to worship one’s Kuldevta, Lord Ganesha, Lord Kshetrapal, the Vaastu Purush and the Dikpatis (lord of all directions) wholeheartedly.

The laborers appointed for the construction work should be given good rewards andshould be satisfied completely as well.

The best days to begin the construction work on a bare site are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday or Friday and Saturday. Square solid bricks should be laid for thefoundation and the digging work should be started from the North-east direction whilethe structure should be built from the south to the west. It should be kept in mind that the construction work should never end in the South direction.

Many a times, it is a general practice to breakdown and reconstruct a particular portion of the plot which has not been erected as per the plan or the requirement in question. However, it should be noted that the main door of the house, once made, should not be altered or re-built.

Once the building structure has been made Vaastu compliant, the next step is to add Finishing touches to the premises in question which would ensure all-round health, wealth and felicity for its owners. It is a general practice to hang pictures of deities on the exterior walls of the house.

A damaged or worn out front courtyard indicates troubles and tensions for the family residing within its premises and hence should be avoided at all costs. All the walls of the structure should be intact and well
maintained.

A dilapidated front wall increases the chances of being vulnerable to litigations for its owners.
