DOES KUNDLI/HOROSCOPE AFFECT US?

Horoscopes have always been a predominant part of a person’s life, especially as per Hindu culture. Dr. Puneet Chawla, a renowned and acclaimed Vastu personnel, says tries to find out and explain to us whether there is anything called horoscope which actually exists and forms part of our very living or not and that whether the planets can really influence our day-to-day life or not.

Even in today’s modern day scenario, people strongly believe and refer to their horoscope before doing anything major or minor in their lives. They look at the stars and planets and their proper alignment for every activity that they intend to do in their life, be it higher education, marriage or even a new business venture. Dr. Chawla questions that should inanimate things decide the course of our destiny or should human nature decide the destiny of inanimate things?

A horoscope is all about how the planets are influencing our life. Planets are inanimate things. Should inanimate things decide the course of our destiny or should human nature decide the destiny of inanimate things? It is human nature that should decide. If planets are deciding the course of our destiny, it means your human nature is not even functioning to the level of inanimate objects. Dogs and cats will not allow planets to influence their life. They live the way they want to live. But human lives are unfortunately influenced by inanimate objects

Dr. Chawla says that intelligence, if used to one’s benefit, no one can ever predict the future activities for that person. This is because he might turn up to do something which no one else has ever done on this planet. Generally, all the predictions of horoscopes are based on things which have already taken place sometime or the other. Intelligent people and those who believe in thinking out of the box may end up doing something which has never been seen or done before, hence predictions about them can only lead to disastrous out comings and, what we may call it as is, a horror-scope.

However, Dr. Chawla says that it is not that planets do not affect us at all, they do, but in a limited manner. Humans have the tendency of exaggerating things and this is what leads to superstitious beliefs and notions and having blind faith on any particular thing. For example, if a person is imbalanced mentally, a full moon night might have stronger influence on him as compared to other balanced souls, but it would definitely not control the way one behaves or acts. Thus, the conclusion lies in the fact that if we are truly stable in our thoughts and actions, irrespective of where each planet goes, we would go where we want to go.  In other words, instability of mind, body and thought leads to one being influenced by inanimate objects like stars and planets. No planet can control the course of a person’s life. It is humans themselves who should decide the course of their respective lives.
