Red complexion body with four arms is depicted as Mangal. In Vedic astrology Mars is known as Aangaraka. His four arms carry Abhay Mudra, Trisul, Gada and Varmudra. He is wearing a red garland and red clothes all over the body.

He is considered to give aggressiveness, mechanical knowledge, can create accidents , violence and wars too. Mangal gives ambition, strength and passion in the person. He creates soldiers, engineers, surgeons and rulers
